We often confuse the two adverbs- 'very' and 'too'. Both these words sit before adjectives or adverbs and consequently modify them. However, “very” does not have a negative meaning, while “too” does. Pushing someone very far and that person starts shouting is something illogical and doesn't make proper sense. Pushing someone 'too' far means to challenge someone's patience which ultimately gives way when things cross a certain limit. Hence, Option C is correct and Option A is not. The other options don't make any sense, so they cancel out.
