Solution

$S_{n} = 2 n^{2} + 3 n$

We know that $n$ th term of AP is given by

$a_{n} = S_{n} - S_{n - 1}$

$⟹ a_{n} = 2 n^{2} + 3 n - 2 (n - 1)^{2} - 3 (n - 1)$

$⟹ a_{n} = 4 n + 1$

Tenth term $= a_{10} = 4 \times 10 + 1$

$⟹ a_{10} = 41$
