Area of a rectangle$=$length$\times$breadth

$=(\sqrt{8}\times \sqrt{2})c{m}^2$

$=\sqrt{16}c{m}^2$

$=4c{m}^2$

Perimeter of rectangle$=2$(length$+$breadth)

$=2(\sqrt{8}+\sqrt{2})$cm

$(\sqrt{8}=\sqrt{4\times 2}=2\sqrt{2})=2(2\sqrt{2}+\sqrt{2})$cm

$=2\left(3\sqrt{2}\right)$cm

$=6\sqrt{2}$cm.
