Find the area of the Figure in square cm,correct to one place of decimal. $(Take\pi =\frac{22}{7})$

Length of square (a)=10 cm.

$\therefore Area=a^2=(10{)}^2=100c{m}^2$

Base of the right triangle AED=8 cm and height =6 cm

$\therefore Area=\frac{1}{2}\times 8\times 6=24c{m}^{2}Radiusofsemicircle\left(r\right)=\frac{10}{2}=5cm$

$\therefore Area=\frac{1}{2}\pi r^2=\frac{1}{2}\times \frac{22}{7}\times 5\times 5c{m}^2=\frac{275}{7}c{m}^2$

$\therefore Areaofthefigure=100+\frac{275}{7}-24=76+39.28=115.28=115.3c{m}^2$
