Question

Find the area of two sides are 18 cm, 10 cm if perimeter is 42 cm

Open in App
Solution

Let the third side be xcm

42=18+10+x

x=4228=14cm

Area = s(sa)(sb)(sc)

Here s=422=21cm

a=18cm,b=10cm,c=14cm

Area = 21(2118)(2110)(2114)

Area = 21×3×11×7

Area = 21×21×11

Area = 2111cm2

Hence area is 2111cm2
