C = Mid point of AB divides AB in 2 equal parts.
C = left parenthesis fraction numerator negative 4 over denominator 2 end fraction comma 6 over 2 right parenthesis equals left parenthesis negative 2 comma 3 right parenthesis

D = Midpoint of AC divides AC in 2 equal parts
D = left parenthesis fraction numerator negative 2 minus 4 over denominator 2 end fraction comma fraction numerator 0 plus 3 over denominator 2 end fraction right parenthesis equals left parenthesis negative 3 comma 3 over 2 right parenthesis

E = Midpoint of CB divides CB in 2 equal parts
E = left parenthesis fraction numerator negative 2 over denominator 2 end fraction comma fraction numerator 6 plus 3 over denominator 2 end fraction right parenthesis equals left parenthesis negative 1 comma 9 over 2 right parenthesis

Hence AD = DC =CE =EB
Therefore,
C, D and E divides the line into four equal parts.
