The given mixed fractions can be converted to improper fractions as shown below.
$1 \frac{1}{2} = \frac{3}{2}$
$3 \frac{4}{5} = \frac{19}{5}$
HCF of fractions $= \frac{H C F o f n u m e r a t o r s}{L C M o f d e n o m i n a t o r s}$
HCF of numerators 3 and 19 = 1
LCM of denominators 2 and 5 = 10
$∴$ HCF of the given numbers $= \frac{1}{10} = 0.1$
