Solution

The correct option is C Glabrous stem occurs in Solanaceae which does not have hairs
Correct statement :-
I) lumen are cavities present inside the cell, cells of sclerenchyma tissue have narrow lumen because sclerenchyma are strongly lignified which lead to compressing the cell and thus only narrow cavity is left.
(ii) fabaceae have Inflorescence: Racemose.
Liliaceae have Inflorescence: Cymose- solitary; umbellate clusters.
(iv) Phloem parenchyma are absent in monocots because in monocots vascular bundles are open that is they lack cambium so no secondary growth takes place. Phloem parenchyma helps in food storage and in monocots this function is performed by water cavities.Phloem parenchyma performs the function of storage of food. It also helps in the translocation of food.
Incorrect :-
(iii). In Solanaceae-Stem is Erect or climber; Solanaceae includes herbs, shrubs, small trees, and climbers.
