So, the remaining amount to pay = 3007 - 2000 = ₹1007.
Next we take the number of notes of the next biggest amount smaller than the leftover, i.e. ₹500.
$500\times 2=₹1000$
So, the remaining amount to pay = 1007 - 1000 = ₹7

Next, we take 1 note/coin of ₹5.
So, the remaining amount to pay = 7 - 5 = ₹2
