Let the first term of the AP be a and the common differenece be d.
We know that a2=3anda4=5
3 = a + d ....(i)
-5 = a +3d ...(ii)
equation (i) - equation (ii) gives,
8 = -2d
d = - 4
The first missing term is equal to
a2d=3d=3(4)=7
The second missing term is equal to
a2+d=3+d=3+(4)=1
