Question

Find the remiander when we divide  $${ a }^{ 2 }+{ b }^{ 2 }+4c^2+2\left( ab+2bc+2ca \right) $$ by $$\left( a+b+2c \right) $$


Solution

$$a^{2}+b^{2}+4c^{2}+2(ab+2bc+2ca)=(a+bc+2c)^{2}$$ 
when we divide $$(a+b+2c)^{2}$$ by $$(a+b+2c)$$ 
we get $$(a+b+c)$$ 
$$\Rightarrow $$ remainder is $$zero$$.
