Find the slope, the x and y intercepts of the line given by the equation $-3x+5y=8$

Given equation of line $-3y+5y=8$

To find slope of line $-3y+5y=8$

$-3y+5y=8$

$y=\frac{3x}{5}+\frac{8}{5}$

On comparing with $y=mx+C$ we get

$m=\frac{3}{5},C=\frac{8}{5}$

Slope of line $m=\frac{3}{5}$

$-3y+5y=8$

$\Rightarrow \frac{x}{\frac{8}{-3}}+\frac{y}{\frac{8}{5}}=1$

On comparing the equation from

$\frac{x}{a}+\frac{y}{b}=1a=\frac{8}{-3},b=\frac{8}{5}$

Thus the slope of line is $\frac{3}{5}$ and their x and y co-ordinates are respectively$(\frac{8}{-3},\frac{8}{5})$
