Step 1: First place bars on the integral parts (i.e. 651)
of the number in the usual manner and
place bars on every pair of digits beginning
with the first decimal place then we get

Step 2: since 22<6<32 [Ref. image 1]

Now new dividend is 251 and we find new divisor
in the similar manner as division method.
42×2=84,43×3=129,44×4=176,45×5=225,
46×6=276>251
so the new divisor is 45 we get [Ref. image 2]
502×2=1004
503×3=1509
504×4=2016
505×5=2525
506×6=3036
5102×2=10204
5103×3=15309
hence square root of 651.7809 is 25.53
