$80^{\circ}$

In the given figure $∠ 1 + 90^{\circ} = 180^{\circ}$ [Linear Pair]
$∠ 1 = 90^{\circ}$

Sum of exterior angles of a polygon is $360^{\circ} .$

$∴$ $x + 60^{\circ} + 90^{\circ} + 90^{\circ} + 40^{\circ} = 360^{\circ}$

$x + 280^{\circ} = 360^{\circ}$
$x = 80^{\circ}$
