Frogs can live on land as well as in water. It is an amphibious animal that can live both land and in water.
On land, lungs play a very important role in the respiration process by inhaling oxygen and exhaling carbon dioxide.
When frogs are inside the water, they breathe through their skin. The thin membrane of skin allows the respiratory gases to readily diffuse directly down their gradients between the blood vessels and the surroundings.
