Let t1,t2,t3 and t4 be the roots.
Then 4t1+4t1=t21
α+β=α216
Locus of P is x2=16(x+y)
(x8)2=16(y+4)
4a=16a=4
Length of latus rectum =|4a|=16

Finding focus of C:
x8=0x=8
and y+4=4y=0
