Nitrogen dioxide when heated forms nitrogen monoxide and oxygen. These two gases on cooling forms nitrogen dioxide back.

(ii) Physical irreversible changes,
When rubber on loosing its elasticity after stretching it too much, cannot regain its elasticity.
