The basic reason for all the above 3 facts are simply how the molecules inside is packed.

(A) in solids, the particles are tightly packed.so it has defanite shape and volume.

(B)In Liquids, the molecules are not that tightly packed.
So it has defanite volume but not shape.

(C) In gases, the molecules are placed far apart.
So they have no defanite shape or volume.
