Atomicity: Atomicity is defined as the number of atoms of a particular element present in a molecule.

Triatomic molecules are molecules composed of three atoms, of either the same or different chemical elements.

  • Water(H2O) is an example of a triatomic molecule that consists of two hydrogens and one oxygen atom.
