Mr. Wilson after some efforts has picked up an experienced engineer Mr. Mahato to look after the execution of the project. Right from the day of joining, Mr. Mahato has appeared to be promising. However, after nearly two month's of service in the Board, Mr. Mahato one day reports to Mr. Wilson that he has got an offer from MNC with more than double the salary and requests Mr. Wilson to relieve him at the earliest. Adverse developments here and there are part of professional career and such events should not disturb a mature administrator. Mr. Mahato is leaving for growth. It does not make sense to argue that MNC job does not help nation building without getting to know the profile in his new assignment. It is not proper to think that MNCs have no important role in the development of this country

Answer choice (a) appeals to Mr. Mahato's tribal identity. This is a good way to present the matter but not likely to work. This should get a score of 0.5.

The choice (b) does not make sense. Individuals make choices primarily with their own self-interest in mind. MNC job may office better growth prospects. Surely salary is an important consideration. This should fetch a score of 0.25.

Answer choice (c) reflect maturity. At the same time, the needs of the office are taken care to the extent possible. This should get score of 1.0.

Answer choice (d) demonstrates some grudge against the individual. This is uncalled for. This should get 0 score
