H2O2 is miscible with water - True or False?
True
An almost colourless (very pale blue) liquid that resembles water, H2O2 is miscible with water in all proportions and forms a hydrate H2O2.H2O (mp 221K)
The extent of hydrogen bonding in H2O2 is more than that of Water. Hence Hydrogen peroxide has a higher boiling point, is more dense and of course easily miscible with water.
