Question

How can electrons emit energy as photons?

Open in App
Solution

Electrons emit photons in this two way;

•Electrons in an atom in an excited state(hybridisation) those electrons need to come to its ground state as it come to lower energy level (orbit) it needs to lose some energy in form of photons

The another possibility of electrons (e-)emit photons when it colloids with its Anti-particle positron(e+) it emits an photon(γ)

I think you are clear;)
