Question

How chromatin gets organized into chromosomes during cell division?

Open in App
Solution

Dear student,
Chromatin is found in uncondensed form during the interphase stage of the cell cycle. It is found as the thread like structure in the interphase but as it moves into the prophase stage condensation starts. In the metaphase stage it becomes fully condensed and becomes visible. In this phase chromatin is called chromosome.
