Solution
Nationalists in Italy wanted to save the country falling into the hands of communists. They wanted to set up a powerful government in the country which could do away with restlessness and unrest. They formed a group called "Fascios" and called themselves "Fascist".
In the end, Mussolini organised these people in a party and named it the Fascist Party. In October 1922, different groups of this party attacked Rome from different sides under the leadership of Mussolini.
Prime Minister Giolitti resigned. Emperor Victor Emmanuel III invited Mussolini to form the government. In this way, he took all the powers in his hand and became the dictator of Italy. He ruled as a dictator from 1922 to till his death in 1943.
