Solution

Well, money plant doesn't grow in dark. It needs sunlight.
We keep money plant inside our house. Here, light is less, but not absent.

The sunlight that comes inside our house through windows is called indirect or diffused sunlight.

Seen the leaves of money plant?
They are patches of green in yellow or white. Only the green patches are photosynthetic, other areas are non photosynthetic, as only green areas has chlorophyll.

How much light a plant needs depends on the chlorophyll in leaves. Plants with more chlorophyll will need more light.
But plants like Money plant has less chlorophyll, so, it will need only less light. So,money plant can grow indoors.

But if you put money pant in closed space, with no light, it will turn fully white and eventually die.

Only some organisms like mushrooms can grow in absolute darkness, but they are not plants, they are fungi, you will learn about them in higher classes.

No plant can grow in absense of sunlight or light. Some plants need more light, others need less. Thats all.
