Centripetal Force:
The centripetal force is defined as the force acting on a body moving in a circular path, in a direction towards the centre of circular path.
Centrifugal Force:
A fictitious force assumed by an observer moving in a circular path along with the body in the direction away from the centre of the circular path, is called centrifugal force.
i.e., both the forces act in the opposite direction.
