Question

How does a desert lizard show behavioral adaptation during low and high temp condition?

Open in App
Solution

Dear Student,

As part of the behavioural adaptation, the desert lizard basks in the sun when their body temperature falls below normal and move to shade again when their temperature rises. Thus keeping their body temperature constant.
Being in the shade during high temperatures also prevents it from losing water.
