Combustion reactions are reactions in which the product produced are CO2 and water.If on combining with oxygen other than CO2 and water is formed, the reaction is called combination reaction.For ex.,CH4 + 2 O2 CO2 + 2 H2O - ---- is a combustion reaction.CH4 + 12O2 CH3OH ----- is a combination reaction.
