How is movement of leaves of touch me not plant and movement of plant towards light different ? (3 points)

The main type of movements in plants are growth dependent movements and growth independent movements , Growth dependent movement involves cell division , regulated by growth hormones and is slow process eg= bending of stem towards light .Growth independent movements involves change in shape of cells, regulated by in out movement's of water and is a quick process eg= movement of leaves in touch me not plants.

Movement of leaves of touch-me-not plant is a nastic movement whereas growth of stem towards light is a tropic movement. The growth of stem is a direction based movement i.e. it grows towards the stimulus of light.
