How much work is done by the gravitational force of earth of acting on a satellite moving around it in a circular path ? Give reason for your answer.

The work done by the force of the gravity on the satellite is zero. This is because, the force of gravity acts at right angle to the direction of motion of the satellite, and therefore, no displacement is caused in the direction of applied force, The force of gravity only varies the direction of motion of the satellite.
