Question

How to increase numerical calculation ability.

Solution

Vedic Mathematics:
Square of a number ending with 5 (valid for 3-digits as well) 352=(3)(3+1)=12 - first two digits; 52=25 -last two digits.; Hence the answer is 1225.

Multiplication of two numbers (2-digit) whose last digit's sum is 10 (valid for 3-digits as well) 43×47=(4)(4+1)=20 -first two digits; 3×7=21-last two digits; Hence the answer is 2021.
