Therefore, total number of outcomes = 36
Now consider the following events:
A = First throw shows 5 and B = Second throw shows 5
Therefore, the number of favourable outcomes = 6 in each case.
P(A) = 636 and P(B) =636
P(¯¯¯¯A)=1636=3036=56 and P(¯¯¯¯B)=56
Required probability = 56×56=2536
