Solution

The correct option is A Mangal Pandey
On 29 March 1857, an enraged Indian Sepoy in the infantry, Mangal Pandey, reacted to the rumour of the greased cartridges by firing at an English officer. He also called out to his native counterparts to rise against the British oppression. His unit was dissolved, and Mangal Pandey was hanged to death. The news of their resistance spread across the country.

Bhagat Singh and his comrades, meanwhile, were revolutionaries who were hanged by the British in 1931, after the Lahore conspiracy case.
