(i) 12x² - 9y + 129 - 16x²

= 12x² - 16x² - 9y + 129

= -4x² -9y + 129

(ii) (9my + 10my²) + (-9xy - 20my²)

= 9my + 10my² -9xy -20my²

= 9my -9xy + 10my² -20my²

= 9my -9xy -10my²

= 9y(m-x) -10my²

(iii) Initially, let's find the sum of 10c² and (-96c² -23c)

= 10c² + (-96c² -23c)

= 10c² -96c² -23c

= -86c² - 23c

Now 56c - 10c² needs to be subtracted from -86c² - 23c

= -86c² - 23c - (56c - 10c²)

= -86c² - 23c - 56c + 10c²

= -86c² + 10c² - 23c - 56c

= -76c² -79c
