The correct option is C K. Chandrashekhar Rao
To create a greater influence on the movement for the formation of Telangana state, K. Chandrashekhar Rao, the leader of Telangana Rashtra Samithi, announced an indefinite fast to begin on 29 November, 2009 at Siddipet. On 29 November 2009, in an attempt to foil the indefinite fast, Andhra Pradesh Police arrested Mr Rao. He continued a hunger strike in the Khammam Jail and subsequently continued it in the hospital. Mr. Rao's fast became a massive people’s movement as he fasted for about ten days between 29 November and 9 December, 2009. This gave new momentum to the protests.
