  • According to the Lindeman law, during the transfer of energy from one trophic level to the next, only about ten percent of the of energy is passed to the next trophic level.
  • Here, in this case, the plant traps 30J of energy. Of this only 10% i.e., 3J is getting absorbed by the mice.
