Solution

The correct option is C

R =(0,3) S =(0,-3)

Given the centre of circle 'C' =(4,0) and radius 5 cm.

Distance between centre and any point on circle is equal to radius of the circle.

let p (x,y) be a point on circle

(x4)2+(y0)2=5

From the given diagram points 'R' and 'S' are on Y-axis.

Put x=0 in above equation

(04)2+y2=5

y2+42=52

y2=5242

=32

y=±3

Points are (0,3) (0,-3)

R =(0,3) and S=(0,-3)
