Given: ABCD is a kite.
In a kite, two pairs of adjacent sides are equal.
$∴$ AB = AD and BC = CD

i) AB = AD
$\Rightarrow 15 = 4 x + 3$
$\Rightarrow 4 x = 15 - 3 = 12$
$\Rightarrow 4 x = 12 \Rightarrow x = \frac{12}{4} = 3 u n i t s$

ii) BC = CD
