Fertilisation of haploid egg with two sperms will make a zygote with 3n chromosomal count (3n DNA content). DNA replication during S phase of cell cycle will double the DNA content to 6n. Formation of three poles during mitosis will distribute 2n DNA to each pole thereby restoring the diploid condition. So, the daughter cells will have the diploid (2n) chromosomal count and would be indistinguishable from normal cells. So, the correct answer is option A.
