Question
If an electrolyte is described as a strong electrolyte what does it means?

Solution
Electrolytes are the species that conduct electricity by producing ions when dissociated.
Based on their ability to produce ions electrolytes are of two types strong and weak electrolytes.
Strong electrolytes are the species that conduct electricity faster than weak electrolytes since the number of ions produced by them is more.
Strong electrolytes undergo complete dissociation and produce a large number of ions since a 100% dissociation is present in them.
Due to the increased number of ions, they are good conductors of electricity.
An example of a strong electrolyte is Sodium chloride(

So strong electrolytes are the electrolyte that produces only ions when they undergo dissociation.
