$\therefore$ Let the volume of blue paint used = 7$x$ and volume of yellow paint used = 5$x$

Given 10 litres of blue paint is used more than yellow paint

$\therefore$ 7$x$ - 5$x$ = 10

$\Rightarrow$ 2$x$ = 10

$\Rightarrow$ $x$ = 5

$\therefore$ volume of blue paint used = 7$x$ = 7$\times$ 5

= 35 litres

and volume of yellow paint used = 5$x$ = 5$\times$ 5
