Given, $\frac{1}{x} = 3 p [\frac{1}{a^{2}} - \frac{1}{b^{2}}]$
$=> \frac{1}{3 p x} = \frac{1}{a^{2}} - \frac{1}{b^{2}}$
$=> \frac{1}{b^{2}} = \frac{1}{a^{2}} - \frac{1}{3 p x}$
$=> \frac{1}{b^{2}} = \frac{3 p x - a^{2}}{3 p x a^{2}}$
$=> b^{2} = \frac{3 p x a^{2}}{3 p x - a^{2}}$
$=> b = a \sqrt{\frac{3 p x}{3 p x - a^{2}}}$
