Let the distance $=x$

Number of steps $=350$

If number of steps will be increase then distance covered by the steps also increase.

So, Distance and number of steps are in direct proportion.

Hence, the quotient of two quantities is constant.

$\Rightarrow \frac{250}{200}=\frac{350}{x}$

$\Rightarrow \frac{5}{4}=\frac{350}{x}$

$\Rightarrow x=\frac{4}{5}\times 350$

$\Rightarrow x=4\times 70$

$\Rightarrow x=280$

Therefore, the distance travelled by $350$ steps is $280$ meters.
