Question

If πxπ, πyπ and cosx+cosy=2 then cos(xy)

Open in App
Solution

As we know the range of cosθ is [1,1] so the maximum value of cosθ is 1

now, here cosx+cosy=2 can only be getting by its maximum value

so , x=y=0 because cos0=1

so, cos(xy)=cos(00)=cos0=1

so, cos(xy)=1
