Open in App
Solution

Formula:

Tn=a+(n1)d

Given,

T9=a+8d=8.......(1)

T3=a+2d=4........(2)

(1)-(2) gives,

d=2

From (2)

a=42(2)=8

0=8+(n1)(2)

2(n1)=8

n=5

Therefore 5th term is zero.
