Equivalent weight of metal oxide =20
Now,
Equivalent weight of metal + Equivalent weight of oxide = Equivalent weight of metal oxide
Here, Equivalent weight of oxygen =8
And, Equivalent weight of nitrogen =143=4.67
Using these values,
Equivalent weight of metal +8=20
Equivalent weight of metal =12
Equivalent weight of Nitride = Equivalent weight of metal + Equivalent weight of Nitrogen
