Solution

## The correct option is B Inverse ProportionLet, length of the rectangles be x and, breadth be y For rectangle 1, length = 8 cm breadth = 3 cm ∴area = 8×3 = 24 cm2 For rectangle 2, length = 6 cm breadth = 4 cm ∴area = 6×4 = 24 cm2 For rectangle 3, length = 48 cm breadth = 0.5 cm ∴area = 48×0.5 = 24 cm2 The product of the length and the breadth, i.e., the area is same for each rectangle. We know that, for two quantities to be in inverse relation, constant of proportionality = x×y So, the dimensions are inversely related.
