Question

If the number of square centimeters on the surface area of sphere is equal to the number of cubic centimeters in its volume, what is the diameter of the sphere?

Solution

Equating the surface area of the sphere to the volume of the same sphere
4×π×r2=43×(r3)
Thus, r = 3cm
d = 2r = 6cm
