Let $T u r k s : P e r s i a n s : I n d i a n s = x : 2 x : 17 x$
Number of workers $= x + 2 x + 17 x = 20, 000$
$\Rightarrow 20 x = 20, 000$
$\Rightarrow x = \frac{20000}{20} = 1000$
$∴ t u r k s = 1000$ workers
Persians $= 2 x = 2 \times 1000 = 2000$ workers
Indians $= 17 x = 17 \times 1000 = 17, 000$ workers.
