Let the radius of the sphere before increase=r.

Given, increased surface area =352cm2.

Also, the surface area of the sphere before the increase is A=4πr2.

After increasing radius by 2 cm, the area is increased by 352 cm2.

Applying the above conditions:
4πr2+352=4π(r+2)2

352=16π+16πr

1+r=35216π=7

r=6cm.
